Our adult studies concentrate on progressive theology and social justice issues. At times our curricula is a book we read together, other times we engage in a video series, and then others we draw from Scripture. Topics can be Biblical, Spiritual, Theological, or Sociological.
During the Covid-19 crisis, our adult study happens on Zoom, Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Email if you would like an invite into the group discussion. When we return to Phase 4 of this outbreak, we meet on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm and Thursdays from noon - 1:30 pm.
Currently our discussion group is reading the book "White Fragility" by Robin Diangelo. This #1 selling book considers how we, as white people, can learn to be ANTI - racist. As people of privilege we believe it is our responsibility to use that power to fight evil, injustice and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves.
FAITH IN ACTION
Our youth group is all about loving our neighbors through service. At this time, Faith in Action is taking a break. Stay tuned for when we resume our service projects.
Sunday school is offered for 5 - 10 year olds. After our children's time during worship, children are invited to learn Bible stories through storytelling, crafts and more. Children are then brought back to service for communion with their parents.
